Choosing the right fabric and colour for your pop top is an important decision, as the canvas plays a key role in both aesthetics and durability. That’s why Austops has carefully selected Sauleda’s premium Acrylic PU coated range, known for its superior quality and performance. The special resin coating adds a barrier layer to the underside of the acrylic canvas increasing its water column rating to 1000mm plus, whilst naturally reducing the air absorbency making it the ideal choice for all weather conditions.

What is Acrylic?
Acrylic canvas is a high-performance synthetic woven fabric designed specifically for outdoor applications. While highly technical, it maintains the natural look and feel of traditional canvas, making it ideal for withstanding the demands of the adventurous travellers and their campervans. Solution-dyed acrylic is the most colour-stable fabric available, offering exceptional UV resistance to ensure long-lasting vibrancy and durability.
Scenic opening
This feature allows the canvas to be opened using a zip that runs along its lower edge. When unzipped, it provides customers with a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, enhancing their outdoor experience.
Front window opening
This feature allows the front plastic window to be unzipped on three sides, enabling it to be retracted for improved ventilation and unobstructed views.

Our VW Transporter T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1 roofs are fully TÜV Rheinland tested and approved. This testing which is completed at the TÜV Rheinland testing facilities in Cologne, Germany ensures that the roof fitment process does not alter the vehicle in a way that would make the vehicle unsafe.
5 Year Warranty

TÜV tested
Our T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1 roofs are fully TÜV Rheinland tested, this testing is done at the TÜV Rheinland testing facility in Cologne and ensures that the roof fitment process does not alter the vehicle in a way that would make it unsafe. This is the only test available that is specifically designed to test the impact of elevating roof fitment on the vehicle, products tested in this manner will always show the TÜV Rheinland kite mark on any certification.
